- No shallow-set posts. Every line post goes deep and gets a full concrete footing so Beaumont clay can’t shove it sideways.
- 2x6 rot board at the base
- A treated 2x6 rot board rides along the bottom so pickets never sit in standing water after a Gulf Coast downpour.
- Double back rails
- Two horizontal rails keep every picket plumb and spread wind load across the whole run instead of a few nails.
- Capped posts
- Post caps shed rain off the end grain, which is where posts rot first. Small part, long life.
